New Construction
I began my New Home sales career in 2001 selling new homes for some of the nation’s largest home builders. Over the course of more than 13 years, I had the privilege of helping hundreds of families purchase and build their dream homes. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the construction process, builder contracts, timelines, and the many decisions buyers face along the way.
The primary role of a builder’s representative is to protect and advocate for the builder’s interests. Builder reps are employed by the builder and are responsible for ensuring the builder’s goals, profitability, and contractual obligations are prioritized throughout the homebuying process. While they are knowledgeable about the homes and construction details, their loyalty ultimately lies with the builder — not the buyer.
That’s why having me represent you is so important. I work exclusively for you. My role is to guide you through the entire process, negotiate all terms on your behalf, and ensure your needs and concerns are fully addressed every step of the way.
I also works to secure the best possible incentives for both your home and your loan. In many cases, buyers are able to negotiate meaningful benefits such as lower interest rates, significant closing cost assistance (often ranging from $7,000–$15,000), included appliances, and other valuable upgrades.
In short, while the builder’s representative is focused on protecting the builder, I am focused on protecting you. Having your own Realtor ensures you have a dedicated advocate working in your best interest from contract to closing.
